Three couples are celebrating Christmas Eve. But, they are all celebrating in different decades. One newly engaged couple has found love later in life. But her family wants her to hold onto her past. That is where they are firmly grasping. Can they let their mother enjoy her newly found happiness and let her live a life of possibilities? Or will they hold her back?
Another couple just moved into a new home. They are having a baby soon, but the house is not ready for their new addition or visitors. But, some family pops up thinking that they can help. Their visit is more of an intrusion, but can the young couple politely send them off? All they want is their own piece of mind. Most of all, they know that this is the last time that there will only be two. Next Christmas Eve will be totally different.
Lastly, a couple finds out that they will finally get their wish to have a family. Their new family member will be with them on Christmas Eve. But, they are having a house full of guests for dinner that day, and the kitchen remodel did not quite go as planned. Can they weather this temporary storm with the knowledge that their lives are about to make a major change?
