Bravo fans already decided that Max is lazy. However, Luka is from New Zealand, and if nothing else, people from that country know that time is valuable So, Max doesn’t fit in all that well. E! News carried a teaser for the next episode of Below Deck Med and in it, Luka Brunton was approached by Max. He said that he wanted to leave the Mustique, but couldn’t really explain what the problem was. Already, spoilers suggest that he’s keen to play and make money and not work as hard as the American-run operation demands.

Luka Asks Max  The Deckhand To Stay

When Max said that he wanted to leave, he likened life to a “casino.” The outlet cited him as saying:

Like a casino, you win money. You come inside, you make money, you make money, you make money. And, like the casino, you need to know to go out, to make the cash out, you know? Before it’s too late and you lose everything…And now I just want to cash out.

Although he gave one charter’s notice, there are still four more to go. Luka was disappointed,d and asked Max to wait and see how the next charter panned out before walking off the vessel.
