Gerry Turner Reveals What Faith Martin Whispered In His Ear
Golden Bachelor GerryTurner shared what was said between him and Faith Martin during their final emotional hug on The Women Tell All special. Fans were not prepared to see Faith get sent home while Theresa Nist remained as one of the final two. Gerry reunited with Faith for the first time since their painful goodbye and was able to get some closure on their relationship. Keep reading to find out what she quietly said to him.
What did Faith Martin say to Gerry Turner during their last emotional hug?
Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner spoke with Deadline and shared a private moment between him and Faith Martin. The two reunited on stage and embraced while shedding a few tears. Faith tells him that she felt their strong connection was cut off when he didn’t hand her one of the final two roses.
He assured Faith that it was not and saying goodbye to her was very painful. She went on to say that she felt safe with him and hoped that she could find that same feeling with someone else someday.
Gerry knew that they both needed some closure. He said after expressing feelings to one another, the goodbye was even harder. So, they were able to talk on stage and get some closure. However, that wasn’t their last embrace.
Gerry shared another moment and also what was said. He said, “As she was walking off the stage to leave, I got her attention. This is one of those memories that I’ll keep with me, probably, forever. I asked for one more hug, and we again hugged for a long time. She told me she loved me, and I told her the same back and I said ‘Okay, when we break from this hug, I think both of us need to be smiling. Because that’s how I want each of us to remember the other.’ And we did a fairly good job of it.”
Faith commented on that moment as well
In a separate interview, Faith Martin also reflected on that special moment with Gerry Turner. She said it was a private moment between them but it was so meaningful to her. Faith still compliments him and thinks he is an amazing guy.
She said she is going away with so much more than what she came to the show with.
Faith has had time to heal after saying goodbye to Gerry so she’s ready to try again. In fact, she even tossed her hat into the ring of many great choices to be the first-ever Golden Bachelorette.
So far ABC has not announced it’s officially happening but with the success of The Golden Bachelor, the chances are likely.
