‘Golden Bachelor’ Faith Martin’s Late Ex-Husband Tragic Details Revealed
The Golden Bachelor kicked off this week, introducing fans to new, single women ready to date the leading man of the season, Gerry Turner. Already, one woman has stood out amongst the rest, winning the first impression rose – Faith Martin. However, her ex-husband hah quite the sad history. The Golden Bachelor’s Faith Martin
Fans got to watch as the very first episode ever of The Golden Bachelor aired this last week. It seems already, Gerry is on his way to finding love. During the first episode, he found a great connection with Faith Martin, giving her the coveted First Impression Rose. However, Faith has been married before. Sadly, her ex-husband is no longer with us. According to Meaww, he passed in 2022 at the age of 61, quite tragically.
Apparently, Brett Martin was a nuclear chemical operator, however, that has nothing to do with how he died. Instead, Brett fell into a 41ft window well while speaking with family members on the phone. At the time, he assured everyone he was fine. However, breathing got difficult, and eventually, firefighters arrived on the scene, recovering his body.
While Brett and Faith split after twenty years of marriage, the death had nothing to do with it. They were already apart when Brett passed. In fact, Faith was invited to the funeral. There, she was able to be a speaker and let everyone in on her good memories with her late ex-husband.
Who is Faith?
While Faith’s ex-husband had a tragic ending, Faith is on a mission now to find love for herself. The First Impression Rose winner is 60 years old and a teacher in Benton City, Washington. In addition to her teaching, Faith is big in the sound space as well. Not only does she perform, but she also hosts different radio shows and has her own podcast.
By the looks of it, it seems there’s a great pool of women for Gerry to choose from this season. While he and Faith seem to have hit it off, there’s no telling where the other connections this season will lead. Fans will have to wait and see how the season pans out and who walks away as the fiance of the first-ever Golden Bachelor.
