Hallmark’s Countdown To Christmas continues to roll with the network’s latest offering A Heidelberg Holiday. Are you ready to head off to a German market? Here is the synopsis.
American Heidi Heidelberg has always had a dream. The ornament designer has always wanted to visit the Christmas market in Heidelberg, Germany. This is where her Oma was from, and how she got her name.
For years, Heidi has tried to become a vendor in the market. Unfortunately, she has not been successful. However, this year she was lucky. Another vendor had to leave, thus giving Heidi the rare opportunity to sell at a stand at the market.
Once she arrives in Germany, she meets a woodworker named Lukas. It is not long after that Heidi discovers that Lukas is the son of the people whom she is renting a guest cottage from. Lukas has recently taken on a big responsibility. His parents have retired and now he has taken over their handmade furniture shop.
“Just as sparks are flying with Lukas and he’s finding a connection to her heritage, Heidi receives some disappointing news that threatens to derail her one big chance. With Lukas’ help, the setback helps Heidi to uncover a special bit of family history that helps to unlock her creativity and her heart.”
