Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell is celebrating her last radiation session with an unlikely treat. The mother of two was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma early this year. Now, she is finally done with treatment so how is she doing? Read on for more details.
Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell Celebrates Last Radiation With Unlikely Treat
It has been nearly a year since Anna Cardwell revealed that she had stage 4 adrenal carcinoma. It was not only in her liver but her kidney, and lung. This came as a shock however she did show up to Mama June and Justin Stroud’s engagement party right after surgery. At the time, it seemed like they were trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Clearly, they never expected this to be the outcome. In the season finale of Family Crisis, after the whole family gathered for June and Justin’s vow renewal, Anna broke the news.
Mama June claimed she was moving back to Georgia from Alabama to help Anna while she was undergoing treatment. It also seemed that her family had rallied around her during this devastating time. Now, she had revealed, during a TikTok Anna put on Instagram, that she had her final radiation. Her whole family is obsessed with promoting these special pickles so Anna was sharing her love for them, as well. At the beginning, Anna notes that she may be a little out of sorts as the day prior was her last day of radiation.

She tried all different combinations and she even said that it probably was not good because of the radiation. The pickles are kits and they are meant to be combined with candies and all kinds of snacks. Of course, fans came at Anna Cardwell for eating such junk while having cancer. Immediately, Mama June clapped back and told them to back off.
“so you’re saying this because she has cancer she can’t have anything sweet oh that’s bullsh*t. She can enjoy anything that she wants to enjoy so please go ahead on somebody else’s”-Mama June
Returning For Another Season
Over the summer, Anna Cardwell’s sister, Pumpkin and Mama June, confirmed Family Crisis was filming. Then, Justin Stroud took to TikTok to share the actual premiere date for the new season. It is unclear where the show will pick up and if Anna’s cancer will be a focus. Yet, fans have become very invested in her wellbeing so hopefully, her journey is somewhat documented.
