Although WCTH Season 10 ended almost three weeks ago, there is still a lot of buzz about Lori Loughlin returning to Hope Valley. Who told Hearties that this could happen?
Recently, series co-creator Brian Bird has been on several podcasts talking about the future of When Calls The Heart. The season ended with a couple of cliffhangers, including Henry (Martin Cummins) showing up at A. Stanton’s door. But, they never show who is at the door. That has led to a lot of questions about the possibility of the actress returning.
Moreover, Bird has repeatedly referred to her return as a “second chance.” Back in March 2019, Hallmark fired Lori Loughlin when the College Admissions Scandal was revealed.
Therefore, is Lori Loughlin returning to When Calls The Heart to reprise her role as Abigail Stanton? Is Hallmark ready to move on and bring her back to their long-running series?
No she is not coming back. Hallmark says they are not in talks to bring Lori back.

Hallmark Says They Are Not In Talks To Bring Lori Loughlin Back As Abigail Stanton
WCTH co-creator Brian Bird has been on a cornucopia of Hearties-related podcasts discussing the shock ending of When Calls The Heart Season 10. Besides the broken engagement, there have been many questions about the possibility that Lori Loughlin could return to the Hallmark series.
Although Abigail Stanton was scrubbed from WCTH Season 6 when the whole scandal occurred, there have been some references to Abigail in the past couple of seasons. This culminated in the moment that Henry showed up at Abigail’s doorstep. Now, fans want to know whether or not Lori is returning. Moreover, Brian Bird was happy to talk about her.
On Monday, People Magazine reported that the Fuller House star “Might return to When Calls The Heart.” Citing Bird’s conversation with the Heart to Hearties podcast, he revealed “good conversations” were happening in regards to Loughlin returning.
However, on Tuesday, the publication updated the article with some newer information from Hallmark Media. This was added right below the headline. Without calling out the WCTH co-creator, the network disputed the news that they were even talking to Lori, let alone considering her to come back to the network.
The magazine wrote, “Despite Bird’s comments, Hallmark Media is “not in talks” with Loughlin about reprising her role as Abigail on When Calls The Heart.”
The publication did not reveal whether Hallmark Media initiated the contact, or if they asked for a statement from Hallmark Media on Brian Bird’s statement.
Whichever the case, they appear to be the first to report that there are no talks between Hallmark and Lori. Therefore, Hearties should not expect to see her in When Calls The Heart Season 11 when it premieres in 2024.

I think she should return. I love the show but the chemistry isn’t the same since Lori and Daniel left. Yes she did wrong and she has been punished for it. Come on hallmark think of the fans. Bring Lori or Daniel back get the chemistry back into the show. There just seems to be something missing. Do something, step out of the comforts zone, life’s boring as it is, give the fans what they want.
How was she punished? She served no time and kept the possibility of two scholastically eligible students from getting admission to the university.
No…the actress should not return..her reputation has been too tarnished.
Only if people don’t give her a second chance and everyone deserves a second chance. Those without sin cast the first stone. I for one want her back on the show, she is a good actress who made a mistake and paid her dues. Yes she got caught but what about the Doctor’s, Lawyers, other intertainer’s and all other professional’s that have done the same or worse. Now give her a chance.

I think they should bring her back. How often has Hope Valley been a story about second chances? Let’s see it lived out in real life for a change. It’s not even that serious a crime, it’s just a petty offence.
