‘WCTH’ Creator’s New Hint Lori Loughlin Could Return As Abigail Stanton
On Sunday, the WCTH Season 10 finale entitled “Starry Nights” included more references to Abigail Stanton. Since then, Hearties have been predicting whether or not Lori Loughlin would be returning to the Hallmark series. Is there any chance?
In a post-Season 10 interview, When Calls The Heart co-creator Brian Bird discusses whether Abigail could return to Hope Valley. Here is what he has to say.
WCTH Co-Creator Brian Bird Reveals Possibility That Lori Loughlin Could Return To Hallmark Series
Although WCTH Season 10 ended on Sunday, Brian Bird has been busy giving interviews. He has discussed the shocking twist. Moreover, he has discussed Henry (Martin Cummins) showing up at Abigail’s doorstep in the finale episode.
On Tuesday, the When Calls The Heart co-creator shared a link on Twitter. This is for an interview on the When Calls The Heart Aftershow. Brian wrote, “This may be my most transparent, candid post-season interview about #WhenCallsTheHeart of any of our 10 seasons. I love that a core value of the #Hearties community is that we can agree to disagree without being disagreeable! I hope you will give it a listen.”
Brian and “Papa Heartie” James Lott discussed some general things before they talked about Henry. Lott is a big fan of his redemption story. Naturally, the conversation turned to Abigail Stanton, at 47 minutes into the interview. The host asked about Lori Loughlin. Could she return?
Brian Bird reminded him that “Hope Valley is a town of second chances.” Brian, also talked about his belief that everyone should get a second chance. This is something he has wanted for Lori Loughlin. This is something the cast wants.
James started to ask if there was any possibility of her returning. Brian pointed out, “That scene made the cut.”
After James tried to nudge Brian into revealing more information, Bird revealed something major.

Brian Bird did not reveal any more details. However, he added, “This is called Hope Valley. You have to have a lot of hope.”
Therefore, it sounds like the folks behind When Calls The Heart and Hallmark are having a conversation about Lori returning as Abigail. As they are currently filming Season 11, it is possible that she could be in the next season. That is assuming that Hallmark agrees, that Lori gets permission from the Canadian government to film, and that they include her in the script.

Lori adds that wow factor to WCTH. I would love to see her return. That “something special” vibe has been missing since she went away. We need her back! Hallmark needs her back!
