WCTH Co-Creator Brian Bird Told Hearties They Are ‘In Talks’ To Bring Lori Loughlin Back
About two weeks ago, just after the WCTH Season 10 finale episode “Long Time Running,” Brian Bird, and new When Calls The Heart showrunner Lindsay Sturman were on the Heart To Hearties podcast.
One of the big shockers in the finale episode was that Henry (Martin Cummins) went to A. Stanton’s house. Of course, these Hearties wanted to know whether or not there was a chance that Lori Loughlin could return as Abigail Stanton. Brian Bird gave a surprising answer.
Well, this is a tricky question and what I can say is that there are good conversations happening. We can’t guarantee anything, but there are good conversations happening around this topic.
Bird, who shared this information with at least two additional podcasts, seemed to indicate that there was a conversation around bringing Lori Loughlin back to the beloved Hallmark series.
He made it clear that he wasn’t making any promises to Hearties, but it certainly sounded like the folks at When Calls The Heart was talking to the network about bringing Abigail Stanton back to Hope Valley.
But, he didn’t give any real details about this discussion.

On Tuesday, People updated their report on this news that the Fuller House star could be back on When Calls The Heart. They shared that Hallmark denied that there are any such talks.
Despite Bird’s comments, Hallmark Media is ‘not in talks’ with Loughlin about reprising her role as Abigail Stanton.
Therefore, the network has nixed Brian Bird’s repeated statements that there are no such talks about bringing Lori back. Hallmark Media is not talking to Lori.
As of now, there have not been any other updates or explanation from the show’s co-creator on his revelation that Lori could return.
WCTH Season 11 Finishing Up Production
Although there has been a long-running SAG-AFTRA strike, WCTH received a special waiver that allowed them to film Season 11. The season will finish production before Thanksgiving. Moreover, the new season will premiere in 2024.

Amen. She is a good actress and her part on WCTH was initially a big part.She helped form HV and the people .She paid her dues, served her time.Weallmake mistakes. Hallmark has always been a network that preaches forgiveness and second chances.Right now we are being asked to forgive E and HV for the terrble treatment of Lucas.So why cant we forgive Lori. What the writers have done to WCTH is just as much of a crime to the viewers . In fact the changes in storyline and programming by HM this past year have been offensive to many viewers but we are aaked to accept it.Having Abigail i back might soften the blows we feel for the change in storylilnes for WCTH. But dont bring Abigale back ununless it is Lori.
excuse me what Lori did is real and happened in real life. Don’t compare that to two fictional characters. I am totally against her returning what she did was terrible. I completely stand with hallmarks decision, and I commend them for it. And as far as Brian Bird goes — stop lying.

Si Lori était revenue dans la saison, BB se serait empressé de nous en informer. Ce ne sont que des mensonges de sa part pour que les fans déçus de la saison 10 reviennent pour la saison 11. Je n’aime plus cette série car ils l’ont complètement détruite dans la saison 10. Si toutefois Lori revenait, ce serait dans la saison 12 car le tournage de la saison 11 est terminé et aucune nouvelle à ce sujet n’a été annoncée. Ne croyez pas tous ces mensonges car nous valons mieux que cela.
What she did was wrong. I am a single mom (husband passed) who struggles everyday to pull together the money needed for college while trying to keep our home. I can not support her and I am grateful that Hallmark is sticking to their decision. Do not bring her back Brian Bird caught not telling the truth again.
