The original movie was made in 1947. The movie was filmed at the historic Biltmore House, one of the most splendid locations.

However, the studio is not satisfied with Lucy’s ending. That is because her script “deviates from the original’s feel-good conclusion.” Therefore, he sends her to the Biltmore to inspire her. This research could help her write the ending this remake deserves.
