Welcome to Plathville stars Ethan and Olivia Plath have confirmed their split. For months, rumors have swirled about the TLC couple potentially splitting up. Trouble In Paradise For Ethan & Olivia Plath
As we reported, Olivia’s sister Sophia previously claimed that Ethan and Olivia were getting a divorce. Fans have picked up on other hints that the couple split up too. For example, last month, Ethan was spotted dancing at a bar with another woman. Plus, there has been plenty of conflict between the young couple, as shown on Welcome to Plathville.
In the most recent episode of WTP, fans saw things get heated between the couple. They opened up about where they stand in their relationship. During the heated conversation, Ethan said that he was “done” and ended the confessional.
In another conversation with her sister Lydia Meggs, Olivia chatted about whether she regrets marrying Ethan.
Welcome To Plathville Stars Ethan & Olivia Plath Confirm Split
On Friday, both Ethan and Olivia took to their respective Instagram pages to break the news to fans. In her Instagram post, Olivia wrote, “Ethan and I have decided to go our separate ways. I have ambivalent memories of us being 18 years old, innocently dreaming of forever – but the partner you chose is a reflection of the world you want to live in, and at 18 I didn’t know who I was or what kind of life I wanted to create for myself.”
She went on to talk about how she’s been on a personal journey. She wants to remember the good moments in their relationship. At the end of her post, she wished Ethan the best.
In his new post, Welcome to Plathville star Ethan admitted, “It just didn’t work between us, though Lord knows we both gave it all we had.” Similarly, he wished Olivia the best and said he cares “for her deeply and always will.”
Ethan opted to leave the comments off on his post so fans can’t say anything directly to him. This may be to avoid negativity during this hard time. So far, Olivia has left her comments on and has received love and support from her followers. She has received a few negative comments as well.
