American Ghost Walks is a tourist destination for those who want something a little scary, yet entertaining and educational. This is something that offers a look into the world of the paranormal with haunting stories from around the United States.
Mike Huberty and Allison Jornlin are siblings who created American Ghost Walks based on their love for the paranormal. Mike lived near the Rainbow Springs Resort, a hotel that never opened before it burned down in 2002. He also had a huge love for the paranormal, spiked by watching the classic TV show Unsolved Mysteries. This led to him creating Madison Ghost Walks in 2010, based in Madison, Wisconsin. His sister was already running something similar in Milwaukee and helped him get it off the ground.
Allison herself was inspired by Richard Crowe, a man who specialized in ghost tourism since 1973. She opened her own haunted history tour in 2008 in Milwaukee. She is also well respected and named the Wisconsin Researcher of the Year by the Milwaukee Paranormal Conference in 2016.
The two then worked together and went nationwide. They expanded American Ghost Walks to eight states, delivering haunting stories all across America. These are mostly walking tours that present well-researched and true stories of hauntings. These include tales from California, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Puerto Rico, and Hawaii. The siblings hope to find investments from Shark Tank to help them expand even more

Right now, American Ghost Walks has two locations in California – Hollywood and Los Angeles. There are also four locations in Illinois, two in Hawaii, one in New Orleans, five in Maine, four in Minnesota, one in Puerto Rico, and five in Wisconsin. Each location has haunting stories from those specific states.
The prices are based on the location. The Hollywood Ghost Walk is $35. The Los Angeles Hauntings Bus Tour is $59. The Illinois tours range from $20 a person up to $80 a person (but this one includes Chicago pizza as well). The San Juan Ghost Walk is $49, and the Old San Juan Ghostsd, Forts, and Cemetery Tour is $90. In each of the other cities, prices are mostly based on what is offered in the tours.
