As those who follow Tammy Slaton know, she was arrested shortly after Caleb Willingham’s funeral. News of her arrest only recently made headlines. Why Was She Arrested?
Days after her husband’s funeral, Tammy Slaton was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. According to Radar Online, Tammy Slaton was in a vehicle that was pulled over for speeding in the state of Kentucky.
The police report reveals the officer confirmed smelling marijuana oozing from the vehicle after he pulled it over. Tammy Slaton was the passenger in the vehicle. She did fess up to having marijuana inside of her purse.

Tammy Slaton’s Current Weight Leaked Amid Her Arrest
In court documents The Sun obtained, Tammy Slaton reportedly weighed exactly 448 pounds on August 4th. Because she was arrested, the TLC personality was forced to provide her personal information to the court including her weight and height.
As fans of 1000-Lb. Sisters know, Tammy Slaton had previously weighed in at a high of 717 pounds. She, however, successfully underwent a gastric bypass in 2022. Following her surgery, the pounds just melted away. To date, she has lost 269 pounds.
Will She Get Skin Removal?
As the TLC star continues to drop weight, fans have one pretty big question for Tammy Slaton: Will she get skin removal? The unfortunate truth is that when someone like Tammy drops 100s of pounds, they are left with a lot of heavy and saggy skin that was previously supported by that body fat. As those who watch other weight loss shows on TLC know, the excess skin can be extremely painful. Moreover, the excess skin can actually weigh a pretty significant amount too.
1000-Lb. Sisters fans are hopeful skin removal will be in Tammy’s future. Fans suspect it is possible that the procedure will be part of the show. So, perhaps, TLC will foot some of the bill.
