Turns out, 400 pounds isn’t the only thing Tammy Slaton of TLC’s 1000-Lb. Sisters has lost on her weight loss journey. She also appears to have lost her frustratingly sour, bad attitude. Is Amy Halterman’s sister a new person after dropping 400 pounds?
Was all of that excess body weight the reason why Tammy was so snappy with people? After a recent video she uploaded to TikTok and Instagram, fans firmly believe Tammy is a new person with a softer personality.
New Tammy Slaton Sheds Bad Attitude With 400-Lb Weight Loss
Tammy Slaton responded to a comment she received on one of her posts recently. The comment asked her to ditch the glasses, so they could see what her face looked like after dropping 400 pounds. The individual who left the comment noted her glasses “took away” from her eyes.
Now, the TLC personality is constantly pummeled with comments from fans asking her to post videos and photos with “no filters.” While this particular comment didn’t ask for no filter, she decided to combine that with removing her glasses.
“Here you go love,” Tammy Slaton responded. She added that she was not using any filters in the photo and it was just her. Then, she whipped her glasses off her face and made an effort to zoom in. She also opened her eyes wide to give the individual who left the comment a good look.
“Have a nice day babe.” Tammy added before ending the video.
1000-Lb. Sisters Fans React
In a comment liked over 800 times, one 1000-Lb. Sisters fan took issue with the placement of the comment she responded to. The individual noted they could not see her face because her eyes were hidden behind the comment. The frustrated fan penned: “Ok for one you can’t even see your eyes because you put the text LITERALLY right on top of them…. Wth.”
Another fan acknowledged they could tell Tammy Slaton felt annoyed by the comment. But, she didn’t respond to the comment the way she would have prior to using 400 pounds. She kept her cool and “killed them with kindness” in response.
