Jenelle Evans’ son, Jace, 14 has been ordered to stay with her mother, Barbara for the time being. He has been in CPS custody since he ran away at the end of September for the third time. So, how long will he be with his grandmother this time around? Read on for more details.

When Teen Mom alum Jenelle Evans first was trying to raise her son, Jace, now 14, she struggled a lot. She was with a bad crowd and his father was not around so she ultimately gave custody to her mother, Barbara. As time went on, Jenelle had another son with her ex-fiance, Nathan Griffith. Eventually, she settled down with David Eason and they had a daughter, Ensley. She desperately wanted custody of Jace back but that would take some time. Plus, her relationship with her mother was constantly up and down. Then, in 2019, David shot and killed the family dog and that was really the first sign something was off.

Jace claimed if he had to go home to Jenelle Evans and David, he would run away again so he was placed back with Barbara. Today, October 25th, they headed back to court for a check-in. According to The Sun, Jenelle showed up as did Barbara and Jace. Per an insider: “This was a quick hearing- the judge just wanted to make sure everything was going smoothly at Barbara’s with Jace. The judge heard Jace is enrolled in school and everything was going well, so things will continue as they have been and he will for now remain with her.”
Back In School
Apparently, school is a great thing to hear as Jenelle Evans had supposedly stopped sending Jace. Furthermore, Kaiser, who is only 9, had been suspended. It had been noted before that nothing official was going to be determined. Barbara would be a place where Jace would be staying and, as what occurred today, the court would follow up with the two of them. Jenelle was seen leaving, but shielding her face. She was also apparently late, as well.

i think Jace should remain with Barbra thats whose raised him his whole life and that’s where he’s comfortable. who honestly felt that Jace & David would honestly get along? David is that I’m king of the my castle type very strict as thing go his way or else seems like to me and Jace is in his teenage rebellion years and isn’t gonna get along well with someone telling him his every movement Jenelle should have interviened when David struck Jace and by not doing so she should have charges also for allowing it unless she was also scared of her own husband which most definitely could for sure be the case David is not very nice as all of us can tell throughout the years idk Jace u stay with Grandma your safe now the other kids need out of there to Jenelle needs to wake up before David hurts her or one of the other children bad one day a mother should always choose her child’s side over her husband any day
its a toss up cause if Barbra raised Janelle right they would not have these issues i mean really she has to be in control and run the show if she would have shown her daughter the love nad attention she needed then maybe this would not have occurred i mean kids learn by example
I’m sorry but no he doesn’t belong with Barbara either. She raised Janellle!! What makes you think she can handle a teenager. I have always felt so sad for Jace he reminds me so much of my grandson Chase. I wish for good things for Jace. He is best without either of them
he should stay with Barbara she raised him and I think all the children should be taken out of there David is an abuser a monster that shouldn’t be allowed around children or animals and Janelle isn’t much better children and there welfare should come before any man
I believe that with Jace being in Barbra’s care children services should be checking in very frequently. He ran away from her house first, why? He is rebellious at his age but there’s a reason why we do everything!
