Kevin McGarry Admits Elizabeth & Nathan Have A ‘Complicated’ Relationship

Earlier this week, WCTH star Kevin McGarry spoke on Canada’s Super Channel Heart & Home in an interview with Edify Films. This was after the Season 10 episode entitled “Starry Nights.”

He shared a bit about how Nathan influenced Elizabeth’s decision to break it off with Lucas in Episode 11. Nathan knew that Elizabeth could not leave Hope Valley. “He’s the one that knows in her heart that’s her home.”

And it doesn’t go over well. It plants a seed in her head, and we all know what happens after that.

However, despite knowing how well Nathan knows Elizabeth, it is not an easy relationship. Kevin contends, “It’s complicated. It’s always been complicated.”

He continued, laughingly using a very unusual metaphor that demonstrated that this relationship can be unpredictable. “They are connected, but at the same time, they’re like a puzzle piece…you’ve got to like, you know, jam together.”

He continued, “They find solace in each other, although it’s hard. And I think the fact that they just know each other so well and they’re able to call each other out on the truth of who they each are. It leads to hurt feelings sometimes, or it leads to things said, and that’s happened since they met.”

Later, he added that there will be more deep conversations in Season 11.

The Log Scene In Final WCTH Season 10 Episode Was No Mistake

Many fans of Team Nathan noticed that at the end of WCTH Season 10, Episode 12, Elizabeth was sitting on the same log as when Nathan revealed his feelings in Season 8. Kevin McGarry revealed that originally, they were going to do a similar scene mimicking the original.

However, the episode was running late. Therefore, before words were said, Bill showed up, and they all went riding off. Team Nathan will have to wait for Season 11 to hopefully return to that same spot.

Who Did Nathan Vote For In WCTH Governor Election?

For many seasons of WCTH, Nathan and Lucas competed for Elizabeth’s affection. Although that relationship thawed and is now friendly, would Nathan still vote for Lucas?

Kevin McGarry revealed that “He was voting for Lucas.” This seems to make sense. He is making a life in Hope Valley, and Lucas becoming Governor is the only way that can happen.

WCTH fans, what do you think of Kevin McGarry’s comments on Nathan and Elizabeth’s relationship? How would you describe their relationship? Please share your opinion in the comments below.
