‘WCTH’ Creator Reveals Season 11 Includes A Wedding
WCTH Season 10 may have just finished airing, but Hearties are already excited about what will happen next. When Calls The Heart co-creator Brian Bird is happy to share a few morsels of what is expected next season.
What did he have to reveal?
WCTH Season 11 Includes A Wedding!
For all of those Hearties who prepared something special to wear on Lucas and Elizabeth’s wedding day, now they will have a reason to put their fancy clothes on. That is because Brian Bird promised a wedding in WCTH Season 11.
Speaking to James Lott Jr. on the Hearties Aftershow, the show’s co-creator promised a wedding. However, he did not state who was getting married.
The possibilities are endless. Could a visiting couple show up in Hope Valley and get married? Or could a totally new Hope Valley couple surprise all and tie the knot?
This will certainly keep Hearties busy contemplating before the premiere of When Calls The Heart Season 11.
There Are ‘Some Surprises’ For Fiona
WCTH fans who love the free-spirited Fiona should be excited about the next season. Brian promises that there will be “some surprises” for the forward-thinking heroine.
Mei Sou And Mike Hickam Fans Will Be Happy
In the WCTH romance department, Brian Bird hinted, “If you are happy with Hickam and Mei pairing, they will love Season 11.
Will Lori Loughlin Return To Hope Valley In WCTH Season 11?
Hearties are still talking about the WCTH finale episode “Starry Nights.” Besides the big twist, many are wondering whether or not Henry and Abigail will reunite on screen. In other words, they wonder if Lori Loughlin will return to When Calls The Heart.
Although there has been hope, but no expectation of this ever happening, Brian Bird did reveal that “This is an ongoing conversation.”
That means it is possible. It is not off the table. He also pointed out “That scene made the cut,” referring to Henry knocking on Abigail’s door.
Therefore, it is possible that Lori could return. But, it is unlikely that she is getting married, as her return is questionable, but the wedding is definitely happening.
Brian Bird Shares Three Words For WCTH Season 11
Lastly, Brian Bird was asked if he could describe WCTH Season 11 with three words. These are the words he chose; “Resolution, romance, opposite of gravitas.”
In other words, it will not be a serious season, but more loving and carefree.
Currently, Hallmark is filming the last three episodes of When Calls The Heart Season 11 in the Vancouver, BC area.
WCTH Season 11 will premiere in 2024. Hearties, what do you want to see happen in Season 11? Do you have a story that you want to dive into or a character that has not found love? Please share your comments below.
