‘Fixer Upper: The Hotel’ Trailer & Premiere Date Released
Fixer Upper: The Hotel officially has a trailer and premiere date! Joanna and Chip Gaines of HGTV’s Fixer Upper have taken on another huge project and are thrilled to show it off to viewers very soon. As we reported, Chip and Joanna Gaines recently announced to fans that they have started their own podcast network. They already have a couple of shows underway. Of course, they’ve received lots of love and support for this new venture.
For years, they’ve been renovating houses, designing home goods, and much more. But now, the HGTV stars are ready for the ultimate challenge!
Chip and Joanna Gaines’ next adventure entails renovating a hotel. This is their biggest project yet with a space of 53,000 square feet. They set out to transform the 100-year-old downtown Waco, Texas building into a boutique hotel. The stakes are particularly high due to the building being on the National Registry.
Chip describes this task as “the largest, most complicated size project we’ve ever done in our whole career.” He wants to focus on bringing “this building back to its former glory.” Once Hotel 1928 is completed, it will feature a library, two restaurants, and more than 30 rooms.
When Does Fixer Upper: The Hotel Premiere?
On Friday, Entertainment Tonight exclusively confirmed that the series will premiere on Magnolia Network on Wednesday, November 8 at 9 p.m. ET. So, it’s only a few weeks away!

Chip & Joanna Gaines’ New Trailer Released
In addition to the premiere date details going public on Friday, a trailer was also released. It’s almost a minute-and-a-half long and gives viewers a sneak peek of all of the excitement and challenges to come in the new series.
While the couple is thrilled to be taking on such a big project, it’s not all smooth sailing. They run into plenty of problems, as expected. But fortunately, they have plenty of experience, thanks to their many previous renovation projects.
