Hallmark’s Flipping For Christmas is about community spirit. What is this movie all about? According to the synopsis, Abigail Jones is both a realtor and a designer. She is ambitious and is focused on work. Therefore, it is no surprise she lacks the holiday spirit.
Christmas is approaching soon, but she already has her gift. She “just landed a career-changing opportunity to represent DevelaCorp, the largest property development company in the city.” Life cannot be better than this. But, she does have a lot on her plate now.
Now, her time management skills are going to be put to the test. That is because her sister has called for help. Abigail’s sister needs a “simple flip.” It is during the holidays and she is promised this is a quick job. She inherited a house and she desperately needs the money. Not only is her sister’s family growing, but their dad has just moved in. Abigail is the person who can make this place sell fast.
Subsequently, Abigail heads home. She may be swamped with work, but she will always stop for family. There, she learns that this situation is quite a bit more complicated. This house was inherited. But, there is a co-beneficiary. It is none other than Bo, a contractor who is more altruistic than realistic, in Abigail’s opinion. He wants this place to become a bed and breakfast.
Pretty soon, as Bo and Abigail debate every part of this remodel, she starts to see the value of community. This home must be refurbished and improve the neighborhood.
But, DevelaCorps has been paying attention to what Abigail is doing. They are now checking out the town’s prime real estate. Moreover, they plan to regentrify the community. Now, Abigail has lost Bo’s trust.
