‘MBFFL’ Fans Question Whitney Belittling Glenn Thore
My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans grow very tired of Glenn Thore being disparaged by his daughter Whitney Way Thore. Belittling him seems to be her favorite new thing to do. So, TLC fans think that she’s being too disrespectful, and bossy, and acts as if he’s downright stupid. Read on to see why MBFFL fans get so angry with what plays out in Season 11 of the TLC show.
MBFFL Glenn Thore Under His Daughter’s Thumb
TLC fans didn’t like the way Whitney seemed to push her dad front and center after the death of his wife, Babs. Hyping him up as the new “GT” and shoving him out there for a new storyline didn’t sit well. It’s not that long ago that his wife passed away, and it might be good to take his mind off things. However, some people think she’s enjoying belittling him.
Another thing that My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans don’t like, is that Glenn Thore now seems to have a daughter who wants to be his surrogate wife. In fact, it seems that she thinks she can boss him around. The spoiler about the Alabama trip was just one issue. Recall, that Whitney questioned the clothes that he packed. When he argued, she asked him if he’d “trust mom.” When he said “yes,” she said, “then you can trust me.” Whereupon, she totally shredded his sense of fashion.

Glenn Thore Gets Belittled
Whitney Way Thore grows intolerable for some fans on Reddit. An example of her belittling came when she suggested her dad did a photoshoot for Jessica, her No BS business partner. Even her dad objected when she just took over as if he really didn’t have what it takes. While he mentioned that and said in his confessional, “That’s okay,” fans disagreed. In fact, they think it’s anything but okay.

- The “family tree” chart. Translation- Glen you are too stupid to remember who 5 people are without me educating you.
- Anytime he stumbles on a name she jumps on it. The pillow with “Madeleine”. Glen is unfamiliar because the great granddaughter is usually “Maddie”…Or he slips and says “Maggie” and Whit jumps on it “WHO?? WHO??” She knows who, give him a little grace.
- The dollhouse for Maddie. A super sweet gesture of Glens that Whit mocks the entire time…
- Then the bizarre photo shoot activity where Glen needs the time to finish the dollhouse…”
TLC Fans Hate The Way She Outs Her DadDown

“Let the man be! He ran a business, fought in war, bought homes (pretty sure he funded the down payment on Whitneys house,) sent kids to college, was a good husband to the end, and now is trying to do right by a new family he could easily ignore!” They added, “He is not elderly, decrepit or confused! He is sad and grieving and dealing with … narcissistic abuse on the daily.”
