This same individual notes there is NO way Jim Bob would be supportive of Anna Duggar “leaving free money on the table.” Given that she has seven children, she is likely entitled to a pretty hefty welfare check and a substantial amount of food stamps.
Anna does not work. Feeding 7 mouths and herself plus everything else is not possible without benefits (food stamps, wic, welfare, medicaid) and I’m just not buying that Rim Job is footing the entire bill or much of the bill at all.”
The OP of the thread continued: “I do think that Anna’s benefits collection is being kept highly under wraps. Wouldn’t want to ruin the IBLP image of staunch anti-welfarism. Rules for thee but not for me kinda thing. What I would really like to see is some journalist out there catching Anna walking into a welfare office or using an EBT card to pay for groceries at the store, or one of the other Duggars using the EBT card to buy groceries for her.”

The OP wanted it to be clear they were NOT shaming a person for using government assistance. The assistance existed for a reason. They were shaming the fact that Jim Bob Duggar and his entire family’s face was very anti-welfare. The OP continued to explain: “These are the folks who have fought tooth and nail to take benefits from needy people and my guess is that Anna, with Rim Job’s approval, is collecting benefits. “
