Tom Sandoval Pays Penance For Scandal In New ‘Special Forces’

Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval is diversifying his resume. Recently, he appeared in the new season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. With his involvement in the affair with Rachel Leviss, aka Raquel, Tom has faced massive ridicule. Likewise, during Special Forces, a military leader blatantly mocks him in front of the world. Fans seem to be enjoying watching him squirm.

Tom Sandoval Renamed To “Scandoval”

Right before the show, Tom Sandoval was outed for having an affair with his friend and Vanderpump Rules co-star Rachel Leviss. Since he was caught cheating on his girlfriend of nine years, Ariana Madix, the news came as a shock to fans. Admittedly, Tom Sandoval said that the past few months had been the “darkest of his life.”

Embarrassingly, he disclosed his last name became a joke during this concerning “Scandoval.” While it is the fan-given name of his cheating scandal, Tom acknowledges it and seems very regretful of his actions. Knowing the whole country was pissed off at him, Tom later revealed he chose to be in Special Forces because he wanted to punish himself for his Pump Rules dirty deeds. While being interviewed for Special Forces, he was solemn and seemed remorseful about his situation.

Opening Up About Ariana Madix

In an interview with People, Tom Sandoval reflects on his long relationship with Ariana Madix. “My love for Ariana was stronger than any camera could ever have captured,” he said. “Some of our best times together were never filmed. The same goes for some of our biggest struggles. I wish things happened in a different order and our relationship was not severely tarnished, and that it ended with the same respect for her that it began with. I owed Ariana better.”

Tom Sandoval’s Mockery In Special Forces

During the premiere, celebrities enlisted in military-style training in one of the world’s most demanding environments. Among them, Tom Sandoval reports for duty. Billy Billingham addresses him, “What a mess,” referring to his long hair covering his face. Mocking him he continues, “Pretty little locks,” Billy continues, “Why would I know you?” Tom told the host he was from a reality television show. Billy then responds, “Oh, welcome to f**king reality.”

Viewers Like Seeing Him Struggle

Within a clip on X, Tom Sandoval’s introduction received some viewer reactions. One person challenged, “Work him good guys make him leave … can’t wait to see if he’s as tough as he thinks!” Another replied: “That Tom has got to be outta here!!!” “PRETTY LITTLE LOCKS,” reiterated by a commenter. Some fans are extremely happy Tom is paying his dues and they are pushing him to his limits. Others think that Tom will do just fine since he is fairly athletic.

Notably, Special Forces filmed in New Zealand right after Tom Sandoval finished the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion at the end of March. While he was late, he returned for Season 11 of the hit Bravo series.
