Doing a bit of sleuthing around on Jed Duggar’s Instagram account, fans discovered he no longer follows his sister Jill Duggar. Now, fans can only assume his decision to unfollow her is because she released Counting The Cost. Many who have read the book agree it largely crucifies their father, Jim Bob.
Fans of the former reality TV family agree the message is clear. Jed Duggar stands with his parents. He isn’t happy his sister Jill Dillard released this book. And, he is no longer following her or supporting her family.
Duggar Fans Rip Her Brother On Reddit
It was in a thread on Reddit just yesterday that fans called attention to Jed’s decision to unfollow his sister. The OP of the thread noted it was a “petty” thing for Jed to do. Moreover, they believed it proved just how “little” of a man he really was. Other fans jumped into the comments of the thread to make it clear they had never been on Jed’s team.
One fan penned: “You know Jed! Probably did it while vocalizing how emotional and hysterical the woman folk are.”
“Jed is a loser. She’s not missing out on anything.” Another chimed in.

Overall, fans of the former TLC family noted that Jill Duggar wasn’t missing out on very much with her brother, Jed was no longer in her life. Moreover, fans suspected Jim Bob Duggar’s children were likely snubbing Jill Duggar just to earn favor with their father following the book. Fans jested that Jed still had a lot of work to do as Jessa was the queen of “making daddy happy” on social media.
