It seems like more and more houseguests are getting called out for their actions on Big Brother this season. This time, it’s Cory’s turn to be in the hot seat. Apparently, the college student said some inappropriate things about Jag’s turban. Keep reading for all the details.

Cory comments on Jag’s turban

In a new clip revealed from the Big Brother live feeds, Cory may be in hot water for a comment he made. Cory, Jag, Bowie, and Cam were all sitting in the backyard when Cory started talking about one of his pet peeves, which he says is turbans.

Of course, this instantly raises red flags as Jag wears a turban as part of his religion. Previously, Jag and Cory have been very close in the house. So, this comment came as a bit of a surprise. Some fans of the show took to Twitter to discuss the comment and what possessed Cory to say something like this.

“We need to keep it 100 in the BBTwitter community. Ya’ll need to start holding America and Cory to the same standards you hold the Black houseguests too. Cory joking about Jag’s turban being a pet peeve while he sat there uncomfortably is crossing a line. #BB25,” one person writes.

Others seem to agree, chiming in with their own opinions. It seems many people think that this comment made Jag pretty uneasy.

  • “Yeah this is messed up. You can tell Jag is very uncomfortable.”
  • Jag wasn’t into this AT ALL!! Nothing about it 😕
  • He’s probably heard this casually bigoted type stuff all his life from people who said ‘it was just a joke, bro’

Was he joking?

However, Jag’s reaction is up for debate. Some thought Cory was joking and it was apparent to Jag. After watching the clip, many think that Cory was being sarcastic the entire time. So, why would he actually mean what he said about Jag?

  • “It was clearly a joke. He was talking in sarcasm the entire time. He said his final three was him cam and Bowie lol come on”
  • “jag literally giggled when he said it – BFFR”

This will be the third time this season someone has said something major, and gotten caught. Earlier in the season, Luke went home after using the n-word. He was in the game only a week before slipping up. Later, Jared got caught calling America the r-word. Luckily for him, production let him stay in the game with no punishment. Of course, this caused controversy in itself.

It will be interesting to see what, if anything, comes from Cory’s comment.
