‘Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner Contacted By First Love, Why?

Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner was contacted by his first love
Gerry Turner is the man of the hour and is already feeling the effects of fame. Glamour caught up with Gerry over Zoom and chatted about all sorts of topics. One topic is if he has had anyone from his past reach out to him. While it is known that Gerry was married to his high school sweetheart for 43 years, he was asked if anyone he had a crush on prior to that reached out.
He revealed that yes one had indeed reached out. Why? It seems it wasn’t to try and meet up to see where things could go.
Gerry said, “There has been one, yes. And actually, someone that I had that early first love with, even before Toni. So yeah, I have heard from one. It was more of a well-wisher than anything else, but it was kind of interesting that after all these years we hadn’t had much contact.”
What is he looking for after losing his wife Toni?
Gerry isn’t looking to find the kind of once-in-a-lifetime love he shared with Toni. He said that Toni was the woman of his dreams and now when he thinks about finding the woman of his dreams again it’s an entirely new image.
Gerry said, “There’s absolutely no way that I’m looking for the same thing or the same general persona as I had with Toni. It’s an altogether different dream. I’m really comfortable with that. It’s all new. It’s different. What you’re looking for at the age of 70 is certainly different than what you’re looking for at the age of 20.”

Overall, he wants to find love again and his children want that for him as well. It’s yet to be seen if he found what he’s looking for but it seems he has some pretty incredible women trying to win his heart.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer to see Gerry begin his journey. The season premiere of The Golden Bachelor is Thursday, September 28. Immediately following that Bachelor in Paradise premieres.
