Sherri Shepherd Gears Up For New Season With Fresh Faces
The Drew Barrymore Show isn’t the only talk show slated to return on September 18, Sherri Shepherd is also gearing up for a new season. As those who have followed Sherri’s career know, she made waves when she kicked off Season 1. Her show slid into the timeslot on FOX that was previously occupied by Wendy Williams’ talk show. Season 1 of SHERRI wrapped up back in June of this year. So, those who enjoyed the first season and weren’t too sour about her taking over Wendy’s job are looking forward to the new season.
Turns out, a new season isn’t the only thing fans of Sherri Shepherd have to look forward to. During an exclusive interview with The Sun, the talk show host teased a lot of big changes coming to Season 2. She elaborated there were new faces joining her crew. She added that people should “expect the unexpected” from the new season.

Chatter on Twitter suggests people have not known about the return of Sherri Shepherd’s talk show for very long. Moreover, many have questions as to why Sherri is not getting the same type of welcome as Drew Barrymore.
One individual notes Sherri is “giving scab energy” in her decision to bring back her talk show right now. Others chimed in to agree they didn’t understand why Drew Barrymore was alone in feeling the heat of her talk show’s return.

Now, it was about a month ago that a new teaser dropped confirming SHERRI would return for Season 2. Unfortunately, the teaser really didn’t give fans of the talk show a lot of information. So, The Sun caught up with the talk show host during a party a little over a week ago. And, they asked her to spill some details about the new season.
Unfortunately, Sherri was pretty tight-lipped on what celebrity guests viewers had to look forward to. She did, however, give The Sun a list of celebrities she would LOVE to have on the show. Her dream list of celebrities included: Trevor Noah, Meryl Streep, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, and Beyonce.
Sherri Shepherd teased that Michelle Obama’s husband was welcomed on the show too. Moreover, she jested that she wouldn’t mind sitting down with Jason Momoa either.

The talk show host tells The Sun she is welcoming a lot of fresh faces to her staff. She teases that everyone should “expect the unexpected” with the new season.
Energy for days, more laughter, more fun, more joy. We have a lot more new and fresh minds who joined the team. So we have new staff because change is great. You got even more ideas coming at me, which I love.”
Overall, Sherri had nothing but good things to say about the exciting new season of her talk show.
