Worst of all, Alicia does not return home.
Now the couple go to the police to get help to find her. One police officer, Karen, has a personal connection to this event. She helps out the couple as they try to find her daughter. They have no idea whether she has run away or if she was kidnapped. Many things can happen to a vulnerable teenage girl.
After nearly an entire year, they get their first clue. But, that was after Dana started to look into an underworld that she did not know existed. Dana quickly learns that the world is a dangerous place for an unsuspecting teen girl. There are a lot of people ready to hurt and exploit innocent children.
Dana learns about online escort ads. Shockingly, she finds Alicia in one of those ads. To see her once innocent daughter looking haggard has invigorated the couple to take action. However, the police are asking for caution. If they act too fast, they could scare away the human trafficker away, and they may never see their daughter again.
Now, the couple tries to buy back their daughter from the salacious man who kidnapped her and turned her into an escort.
