’90 Day Fiance’ Why Can’t Michael Ilesanmi Get U.S. Visa?
Michael Ilesanmi is still struggling to get his US visa on 90 Day Fiance. In fact, he could not even join his wife, Angela Deem on The Last Resort for couple’s therapy. Rather, he has had to come in via video chat and be carried around. More so, Michael cannot even participate in some of the challenges since he is not physically there. Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi have been together since 2018 and fans have watched their love evolve thanks to 90 Day Fiance. It has been a rollercoaster ride. They have had cheating accusations and even more issues between the two of them, plus a two-decade age difference. Despite all of this and the fact that she lives in America and he in Nigeria, the two opted to wed in 2020. Things further escalated when Deem chose to undergo a lot of cosmetic procedures which drastically altered her look. Michael loved his wife as she was, or so he claimed, and had a hard time with the new Angela.
Now, the couple is one of five working on their relationship on 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort. Unfortunately, Michael is still in Nigeria and seems to be struggling to get a visa. Could Angela actually be holding him back? Viewers may recall that she has a little bit of a past that is not so clean. According to People, in 2018, Angela was arrested for a DUI. When she was pulled over, she apparently refused a breathlyzer and wanted a blood test. Additionally, she claimed she did not trust the officer.
Along with Angela, her daughter, Scottie was sentenced to 20 years in prison for child molestation. However, she was released after serving only a little over a year. She is now on the sex offender registry in Georgia so that compounded could have factored into the difficulties Michael’s facing. It seems that they do check the backgrounds of the visa petitioners on both sides. Plus, Angela has to prove she can provide for Michael when he comes to America, as well.
The Truth
Recently, Angela Deem got into a physical altercation with another woman. So, the 90 Day Fiance star has her own anger issues. At the same time, when Michael Ilesanmi is in Nigeria, he does have fun with his boys. Therefore, maybe he simply enjoys the idea of having a wife but is not ready to come to America and leave that freedom behind.
