With 14 kids, something exciting is always happening in Deon and Karen’s home. When the show isn’t airing on TLC, the couple does a good job of keeping fans in the loop via social media. And of course, fans are always thrilled to hear from them.
Karen Derrico shares a huge update: ‘miracles do exist.’
On her Instagram page on Wednesday, September 6, Karen shared a special update with fans. Her quints, Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daician, and Daiten, are celebrating their 10th birthday!
Karen Derrico wrote, “It’s on this very day 10 years ago, 32 weeks and 2 days, my water broke naturally just as I had prayed.” Because she was 32 weeks pregnant, her doctors agreed that it was time for her to deliver. With a quintuplet pregnancy, she was full-term at that point.
The mom of 14 continued, “I knew from the first ultrasound to that very moment God had his hands on me and our babies and he still does!”
She gave the hospital staff a special shoutout too, noting that 42 nurses and doctors worked hard to keep her and her babies safe.
Finally, she said, “Here’s to a wonderful and blessed day of celebration to our babies! Mommy, poppy and all your siblings love you so much and we won’t EVER STOP!! Thank you Jesus for showing and reminding the world that miracles do exist!!!”

Doubling Down With the Derricos are thrilled for the quints’ big milestone.
In the comments section of Karen Derrico’s new post, fans are sending lots of love to the quints. This is a big milestone birthday, of course, as they as they hit double digits. So, fans want to make sure they know just how loved they are.
