Bachelor in Paradise alum Sarah Herron and Dylan Brown are engaged to be married. However, their time as fiance’s may be coming to an end shortly. Sarah has been sharing all about the treacherous 16-day Grand Canyon hike they are doing. They will be on this dangerous hike with no technology so nobody will hear from them until they return. However, she hinted that something special could be going down on this exciting trip. Keep reading to find out more.

Sarah Herron and Dylan Brown embarked on a 16-day self-supported river trip down the Grand Canyon. She shared that getting his permit is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. She has been sharing all the details on Instagram including one final post before they departed that has everyone talking and excited for them.

Sarah said, “To win the lottery system is coveted by adventure enthusiasts around the world. When you get a permit, you move mountains at the chance to unplug from the modern world and escape to solitude for 16-24 days in remote, rugged, wilderness. There is no contact with the outside world except by SAT phone. Self-supported means no guides or a paid outfitters. We will be rowing it on our own.”

They immediately started gathering their closest explorer friends to join them. As she was packing for the trip she showed a video of a simple yet gorgeous white dress hanging on the door. She captioned it that they were packing for the Grand Canyon, She also said, “see you in 225 miles” Sarah had a bride and groom emoji on the caption of the video. On the post, she said, “Whattaya say @dylan.h.brown?”

Fans began commenting how excited they were for her. One fan suggested she bring something of Rio’s and Oliver’s to have with her for something borrowed and something blue. She commented back that she loved the idea.

She believes the trip is a gift from Oliver

Sarah says this trip presented itself at the most perfect time. Sarah said, “This trip however, is coming at a particularly interesting time; it was one year ago to the date that I became pregnant with Oliver and broke my knee—in the same freaking day. I’ve had so much grief and anxiety nearing this anniversary, that I’ve wondered how I’d be able to get out of bed in the coming weeks. The sadness has been all-consuming. Then it occurred to me that this trip must be a gift from Oliver.”

She went on to explain why she feels this way. Sarah feels their late son is trying to help them form new memories around this difficult time. Of course, it isn’t to forget him but rather to just get back to living and loving life.

They both believe he will be with them on this trip. She concluded her post by saying, “Our biggest hope in life is to be able to extend our love for exploration and adventure with children. We’ll all be together again, in nature. Now and always ❤️”
