‘Bosch: Legacy’ Season 2 Trailer Released, Premiere Date Announced
Amazon Freevee has released the Bosch: Legacy Season 2 trailer video. In addition, they have announced the premiere date of the series based on the bestselling Michael Connelly books. Can Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) trust the LAPD to find his kidnapped daughter? Or will he go rogue and possibly risk her getting killed?
The new preview shows Harry in the most horrific places looking for his daughter. The retired cop is at the morgue! This is not where he wants to find his beloved daughter.

What Happens In Bosch: Legacy Season 2?
When viewers last saw Bosch: Legacy Season 1, Maddie (Madison Lintz) is abducted by the masked kidnapper. In the newly released preview video, the kidnapper is shown wearing a lucha libra mask. Moreover, he is hiding in Maddy’s closet. It doesn’t take long for Harry to figure out what is happening. But, can he stay within the boundaries of the law to find her?
In addition, the FBI is looking at Harry and Honey’s (Mimi Rogers) connection to Carl Rogers’ murder.
Season 2 is loosely based on the Michael Connelly novel The Crossing.
Bosch: Legacy Season 3 Has Familiar And New Faces
Unlike Season 1, which had a lot of new faces, Season 2 will have a lot of familiar faces starting with Jamie Hector reviving his role as Detective J. Edgar. As mentioned, Mimi Rogers is also back as Honey “Money” Chandler. Also retiring are Stephen A. Chang, Denise Sanchez, David Moses, Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Scott Place, Gregory Scott Cummins, Troy Evans, Jacqueline Pinot, Jacqueline Obradors, DaJuan Johnson, and David Marciano.
New to this series are Anthony Michael Hall, and Don Ellis, as well as a cornucopia of new faces, including Day’s star Guy Wilson, David Denman, Patrick Brennan, Rafael Cabrera, Brice Davidson, and Jessica Camacho.
When Is The Premiere Of Season 2 Of The Amazon Freevee Series?
The premiere of Bosch: Legacy Season 2 is on Friday, October 20. On that day, the first two episodes will drop. After that, Freevee will continue to drop two new episodes every Friday through November 17.
Bosch: Legacy Renewed For Season 3
Back on May 1, Amazon Freevee announced that they were renewing the popular Bosch spinoff series for Season 3. However, due to the WGA and the SAG-AFTRA strikes, there has been no work on the new season. The writing and filming will occur once both strikes are settled.
One of the reasons that they have already renewed this spinoff series before Season 2 dropped is that Season 1 was streamed more than the original Amazon series.
Two Bosch Spinoffs Are Planned
In addition to Bosch: Legacy Season 3, there will be two spinoffs. Firstly, Detective Jerry Edgar (Jamie Hector) is working an undercover FBI gig in Little Haiti, Miami. The second spinoff features Detective Renee Ballard who heads the LAPD cold case division. Currently, the latter does not have an actor attached to this particular spinoff.
