Last night Big Brother fans got to watch as the Power of Veto competition played out for the week. However, the audio-based competition left one houseguest crying and viewers outraged. Fans aren’t keeping quiet about their anger with the show. Keep reading for all the heated details.

Big Brother presents unfair competition

Last night, six houseguests were seen competing for the Power of Veto during Big Brother. While the show just aired last night, this comp actually took place a few days ago so fans are well aware of the fact that after the comp should’ve ended, the live feeds stayed off for hours. It seems fans finally have their answer as to why this happened after watching last night’s episode.

During the POV comp, houseguests had to listen to clues and run around a music-themed room, solving three puzzles. Whoever solved the puzzles the fastest walked away with the golden POV. While this comp was easy for some of the houseguests, especially winner Hisam, it proved more challenging for deaf houseguest, Matt Klotz. So much so in fact, they didn’t even end up showing his completion time.

After seeing how the competition unfolded, fans took to the internet to explain their outrage at the whole situation. Apparently, Matt was even seen crying after the comp when the live feeds finally returned. Several now understand exactly why he was so upset.

“How exactly was Matt supposed to do this Omg ??? No wonder he was crying. I feel so bad for him,” one person writes on Twitter.

Of course, they aren’t the only person speaking out. Some are even calling the show out for ‘faux progressiveness.’

1. The faux progressiveness the casting/production for big brother is so bad. Awesome that you have included Matt in this season, he seems to be a genuinely nice person. For production to continuously use comps involving HEARING, mind you jumbled &low sounding volumes, for comps 2. Is ridiculous. If they did not want to put the effort into accommodating him, then he should not have been cast. I cant imagine how he’s feeling. Hopefully he is connecting with others to help him get through. How about making some visual comps? A puzzle??

What will happen tonight?

Tonight will be the Big Brother live eviction where Hisam will possibly fulfill his long-awaited wish of sending Reilly packing. However, this once again leaves Matt in a vulnerable position. Last night, he even made it clear to Reilly that she is the only person who has made him feel welcome and she is the only one he can trust.

Of course, the show must go on and after one houseguest leaves, it will be time for another HOH competition. It will be interesting to see if this comp is finally more accommodating to Matt. If it isn’t, it seems CBS had best be prepared to lose some viewers this season.

  1. If Matt had of had equal opportunity in the POV competition, he could have won and took Reilly off of the block. But CBS Big Brother made the competition one requiring good hearing to win and made it especially difficult to hear for anyone deaf. CBS BB should have “immediately” cast out the results of that competition and carried out a fair POV competition that would replace the first one!
CBS BB chose not to do this, which is their 2nd disgusting wrong, the 1st being having a hearing competition without making required accommodations for a deaf person! CBS BB, listen up: Just overlooking it and moving on with the game is NOT acceptable at all!!!! You need to make this wrong right!!! NOW!
