On the heels of teasing fans of CBS’s Big Brother that she wouldn’t be the host forever, Julie Chen has recently announced the launch of her new endeavor.

Teased Exit From Big Brother 

As TV Shows Ace reported about a month ago, Julie Chen teased fans during an interview that she would not be the host of Big Brother forever. And, leaving the CBS competition series was something she thought about from time to time. Julie admitted she would know when it was the right time to leave, but it wasn’t something fans had to worry about in the immediate future.

At the age of 53, the Big Brother host admitted during the interview she just wasn’t getting any younger. And, she was starting to feel her age in various parts of her body. So, eventually, she just wouldn’t be spry enough to commit to multiple engagements.

Julie Chen Launches New Endeavor: Big Brother Exit Preparation?

Nearly a month has passed since that interview came out, and Julie Chen has just announced the launch of a new endeavor. It was just yesterday that Julie took to her Instagram with a video announcing her newest business venture. She was on the set of Big Brother and used her platform with the CBS fan base to push her newest project.

Julie Chen’s New Venture Flops With Fans?

In the comments of her Instagram post, many of her followers were quick to tell her “No thanks.” A few noted the religious overtone of her newest venture was a huge turn-off. Several admitted they only followed her for updates on the show and would pass on buying the audiobook. Here’s some of what her followers said in the comments:

  • “It’s amazing how you push God on everyone while you host a show about lying and deceit. Seems counterproductive.”
  • “Knew the god promotion was coming.”
  • “Love the cross promo!!! We are supporting Julie!!!”

There were some fans who showed love and support for Julie in the comments sprinkled in between the hate. Overall, however, her comments didn’t suggest she had too many fans rushing to pre-order.
