What’s going on with the 1000-Lb Best Friends cast? Are the women even still friends?
Onscreen, Vannessa, Meghan, Ashely, and Tina couldn’t be closer. They’re always there to uplift and support one another, even when they don’t always see eye to eye. But the Season 2 finale aired quite some time ago. Since then, the women have continued posting on Instagram. But some fans noticed that they don’t post about each other quite as often.
After recent social media activity, some fans started speculating that something happened between the women.
Is there drama brewing behind the scenes on 1000-Lb Best Friends?
During 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 2, Meghan asked the other three cast members to be her bridesmaids. They all had a great time accompanying Meghan for dress shopping and proudly stood beside her for the big day.
But did something happen offscreen to pull the women apart?
Of course, none of the women have publicly commented on the situation. But Tina posted something that made a few fans really take notice.
“Due to personal reasons, I am going to be ignoring anything that feels forced, fake, unnecessary or unaligned with my growth/healing,” the Instagram post read. Notably, Tina’s best friend Meghan liked the post.
Many of Tina’s followers also liked the post and offered up words of encouragement.
“Love this! I’ve recently come to this conclusion as well! You go girl! Love ya!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” one follower wrote.
But who exactly is she talking about?
Vannessa Cross is living her best life; is it making the others jealous?
Vannessa Cross is arguably the breakout star of 1000-Lb Best Friends. Over the past year, some fans have suggested that the other women might be jealous of her journey and popularity with fans.
Although Meghan, Ashely, and Tina frequently show up in each other’s Instagram posts, it’s been a very long time since Vannessa shared a post featuring the other women.
In fact, one fan asked Vannessa about the other women in one of her recent Instagram posts.
“You are looking great. Are you still friends with the other ladies? Don’t see you together anymore,” the fan wrote. Vannessa didn’t reply, but it definitely sparked a conversation.
At this point, no one can say with certainty that anything at all happened between the women. But it’s likely that 1000-Lb Best Friends will be back for a third season, based on the women’s cryptic social media posts.
If something did drive the women apart, they probably won’t be able to speak up about it until TLC starts putting out new episodes. For the time being, fans are curious and want answers.
