‘Vanderpump Rules’ Real Reason Billie Lee Is Coming Back
Is Billie Lee coming back to Vanderpump Rules after a several-year hiatus and more so, what is the real reason for her return? The former SUR hostess left after Season 7 but definitely left her mark on the cast. Now it seems that she is making her way back to WeHo and the spotlight but why now? Read on for more details.
Vanderpump Rules Real Reason Billie Lee Is Coming Back
Billie Lee joined Vanderpump Rules in Season 6 as the first transgender cast member. Everyone fell in love with her and learned so much from her experience. However, by Season 7, she was not as welcomed as she had been her first year. Her attitude had changed and she was not as kind to the OGs as she had been before. Yet, she had found a close friendship with Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix, in part because she dated Madix’s brother, Jeremy. Then, she left the show after Season 7 and eventually popped up at events for Sandoval and Madix.
Then, the couple split and she claimed she was there for both of them. However, she was often seen with Tom Sandoval and speculation started that they had been dating. Rumors of an affair dated back to her time on Vanderpump Rules though they both denied it. Billie Lee has managed to keep it cordial with Ariana, walking her dog when she was out of town. Now, it seems that they may have more encounters as The Sun reports Billie Lee is returning for Season 11.
So, why is Billie Lee back? Apparently, she is the comfort that Tom Sandoval needs amid being shunned by his friends. An insider spoke to Page Six and had this to say: “Billie came back to support Tom as he was experiencing some mental health challenges when cameras went up for Season 11.” Furthermore, she wants to clear up rumors that she and Sandoval were anything more than just friends. As to whether or not anyone will believe that is yet to be seen.
Filming With Others?
When Billie Lee is filming Vanderpump Rules, will she just be doing private scenes with Tom Sandoval or has she met with the group? The insider added: “Billie has filmed multiple scenes with Sandoval and more cast members. She is currently negotiating her contract for the rest of the season, which wraps filming in September.” She did not leave on the best foot with her co-stars such as Lala Kent but it will be interesting to see how she is received. Not because she has been away for so long but because she is riding so hard for Sandoval.
