‘Welcome To Plathville’ Shocking Preview: Kim Plath Has New Man
In the shocking new Welcome to Plathville preview, Kim Plath reveals that she has a new man! After her divorce from her husband, Barry Plath, she is ready to get out into the dating world. On Tuesday, August 8, People exclusively broke the news that WTP Season 5 will premiere on Tuesday, September 5 at 10 p.m. ET. Fans can look forward to new episodes on Tuesdays for the next couple of months. While sharing this huge news with TLC viewers, the outlet also offered a peek into the new season with a preview.
What’s new with Kim Plath?
During Season 4, fans watched as Kim and Barry navigated their divorce. A lot has happened with Kim since Welcome to Plathville Season 4 wrapped up. Unfortunately, the TLC star ended up with a DUI. Luckily, she only suffered minor injuries when she crashed her car and no one else was hurt.
Online, fans have speculated about a potential boyfriend. However, the Plath family hasn’t confirmed anything themselves. Now, in the new season, it looks like fans will finally have the chance to meet Kim’s new man.

The preview features a couple of shots of Kim holding hands with a mystery man. In the Season 5 preview, Kim sits down at a restaurant with one of her female friends. Her friend asks, “Are you keeping secrets?” Across the table, Kim giggles excitedly.
In another clip, Kim is holding hands with her new man. She asks, “Would you call me your girlfriend?” To this, he responds, “Oh, definitely.”
In a confessional, the TLC star admits that her new man gives her “the warm fuzzies.”
Unfortunately, in the first preview, fans don’t get a look at the new man’s face. So, it’s unclear who he is, but hopefully, in the new season, fans will be able to meet him.
Below, you can see a snap of Kim’s rumored boyfriend. It’s unclear if they are still together, however, and whether he will be in the new season.
