Is it possible that TLC fabricated the explosive fight between Tammy Slaton and her siblings?

During the family trip to Florida, the network reportedly stopped filming for a brief period after Tammy, Amy Halterman, and Amanda Halterman came to blows. TLC didn’t offer up any details about the fight. Now, some fans think the fight didn’t actually happen at all.

What exactly are fans saying online? Keep reading to get the inside scoop.

Did Tammy Slaton really fight her siblings? Fans have questions

Several weeks ago, The Sun published an article with an insider who alleged that 1000-Lb Sisters production was currently on pause. The siblings allegedly began to physically attack each other during the Florida trip and the crew was uncomfortable being around them.

TLC reportedly gave the family members some time to cool off before resuming production. But did any of this actually happen?

“Did anyone record the Slaton family fight?” one Redditor wondered on the platform. “So, TLC said that the film crew chose to not record the fight between Tammy, Amy, and Amanda, but I’m curious if there were any outside parties that did.”

“I’m sure it would be all over the internet if there was footage. I bet Amanda could whoop Tammy and Amy at the same time, lol,” another Reddit user chimed in.

This led a few other fans to wonder if the fight was real at all. Could it be possible that TLC leaked a fake story to drum up interest in the new season?

In previous seasons, TLC didn’t hesitate to film the siblings engaging in verbal assaults on one another. Some Redditors thought it was interesting that they wouldn’t take the opportunity to film another explosive fight.

I can’t believe that a reality show crew refused to film a physical altercation. I mean, that’s tv gold right there,” someone else chimed in. “But yeah why did no one else record it? Like, a random civilian. Unless they were somewhere private where no one was around. I don’t doubt the fight happened it’s just a little odd how there’s no video of it and seemingly won’t be.”

When will 1000-Lb Sisters return?

So far, TLC hasn’t released an official premiere date for new 1000-Lb Sisters content. Over on TikTok, Tammy Slaton revealed that Season 4 Part B would premiere on December 12. She later deleted the TikTok, leading some to believe TLC made her take it down.

The cast members do have NDAs on file, so it’s possible the network intervened. Either way, it seems entirely likely that there will be new episodes of 1000-Lb Sisters before 2023 comes to an end. For now, fans will need to stay tuned and see what happens next.
