Gary Shirley has dramatically turned his life around since fans first met him on 16 & Pregnant. He was with his then-girlfriend, Amber Portwood and they were expecting their first child. They thought their love would last forever, so much so that he proposed with a ring from Walmart. Sadly, it was too combative and they parted ways but had a beautiful little girl, Leah, who is now 14. He moved on with another woman, Kristina, while Amber had a few men in her life, one of which resulted in a baby boy. As for Gary, he and Kristina had a baby girl named Emilee, now 8.
Gary Shirley and Kristina have changed their lives and he has lost a lot of weight, getting his health under control. At the same time, he has been raising Leah along with Kristina and now, he is showing off a big day for his girls. Yet, it is how much they have grown up that fans cannot get over. According to People, Gary showcased his two girls getting ready for their first day of school. He posted the snaps on his Instagram.
In the caption, he wrote: “Just two of the most important people on this planet, Today was their first day of school! I love these girls very much. I’m very honored to be their father:).” Leah is tall, slim, and donned wavy brunette locks. As for Emilee, she has a wide happy smile full of braces. It is a shock for those who have watched them since the very beginning to see them as real independent, and beautiful ladies.
Fans Cannot Get Over It
After seeing the photos of Gary Shirley’s girls, his followers immediately reacted. They were especially invested in his daughter with Amber Portwood, Leah. One wrote: “Leah got tall she is blossoming into a pretty young lady.” Another added: “No way is that Leah!!!! 😮 When the heck did she grow up!!?” It was noted a handful of times how much she looked like her mother and how beautiful she is. Of course, others complimented Gary and Kristina on what amazing parents they are. Overall, it looks like they were primed and ready for a great day.
