1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton is officially half of her size which is a huge milestone for the reality star. That being said, she is wasting no time flaunting her slimmer physique. There were times in rehab when Tammy Slaton wanted to give up. Yet, she kept on going and eventually, she made it below the 550-pound goal she had to reach to get weight loss surgery. Yes, it was risky with all of her health concerns but it was worth the risks. After she had it done, her life changed for the better as she fell in love and got married. As soon as she left the facility, she continued to drop the pounds and even changed up her hair. Tammy colored her hair a fiery red to match her personality and accentuated her curls. It was as if she was living life for the first time.
She was even able to walk into Dr. Smith’s office which was a huge moment for her bariatric surgeon. He had seen her at her worst and now she was mobile and functioning. Sadly, during her whole transformation, her husband passed away and fans worried that Tammy Slaton would backslide. The opposite has seemingly happened as her heart has softened and she has continued with her new journey. Now, according to The Sun, Tammy is officially half of her size per an insider.

“Tammy thought she weighed 370 pounds. Tammy went to a rehab center last Thursday and got weighed. She actually lost more than she had thought. She’s down to 334 and doing awesome,” they shared. This is huge since Tammy had previously weighed over 700 pounds. To celebrate this moment, she shared a handful of snaps on her Instagram for her followers to see. Long gone is her trach and her oxygen so her face is in full vew and she looks beautiful.
Fans Love The New Tammy
Tammy Slaton always had people cheering her on for the longest time. Now that she has lost the weight and is on a good path, her folowers are so proud of her. Vannessa Cross from 1000-Lb. Best Friends had this to say: “Queen Tammy for real girl your doing so amazing…life is so different!!!!!! LOVE YOU GIRL.” A fan added: “You are so beautiful and your strength and courage is so inspiring 💜 thank you for sharing your amazing journey !!!”
