‘90 Day Fiance’ Sheila’s Pain Exploited By TLC?
90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days has brought on a cast that will really tug at viewers’ heartstrings. David and Sheila are a hearing-impaired couple who are seeing if their love can work in real-time. It has been a struggle but they have been trying and been truly candid about nearly everything they have gone through. Yet, is Sheila about to go through something serious that TLC is going to exploit? Read on for more details.
90 Day Fiance Sheila’s Pain Exploited By TLC?
Sheila and David were introduced in Season 6 of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. He is hearing impaired as is she but she can at least use hearing aids. Plus, she is from the Philippines and has not mastered sign language nor has her son so they have a double language barrier. Intimacy was a bit of a struggle as Sheila had never been with a deaf man. Yet, they are willing to keep working on it all. They use texting to be able to communicate the best that they can but he finally hired a translator to better assist them in their chatting.
Unfortunately for David, his 90 Day Fiance love felt that he was flirting with the translator. She was hurt and saddened. To add to that, her home had been devastated and David had sent her and her family money to rebuild. What he saw was more shocking than anything. David had no idea how he was going to manage to survive there for a few days but it was the preview for the upcoming episode that actually angered fans.
This really pissed me off. I felt so bad to see her like that and this sad situation. Them leaving it off on a cliffhanger like that was so inappropriate. TLC should apologize, make a statement, and let people know if it was anyone in her immediate family if they actually cared!

Sheila was seen crying as a casket is with her, leaving 90 Day viewers furious that TLC would exploit Sheila’s pain for ratings. They took to Twitter to share their anger. Another added: “Please tell me that one of Sheila’s parents did not die and TLC is not going to air footage of her grieving, because that would be such a thoroughly tasteless and despicable thing to do.”
Up In Arms
Fans seem to really have a soft spot for this 90 Day Fiance couple. Therefore, they do not want to see anything bad happen to Sheila, especially her being exploited. Time will tell what exactly happened and who passed away. Hopefully, TLC learns its lesson and realizes this is not what fans want. Cliffhangers are great but not ones where someone is visibly suffering like this.
