Lydia & Trace Bates reveal their unborn baby’s health concerns.
As we reported, Trace and Lydia recently explained that Ryker is growing more slowly than expected. Last weekend, they said:
“All his vitals looked great but he is measuring super small. He has dropped from the 30% to the 6%. Definitely making us a bit nervous but don’t want to get too worried until we go back next week.”
Because of this, it’s possible Ryker will need to spend some time in the NICU. Of course, the doctors are continuing to keep a close eye on his growth. Specifically, the doctors expressed concern for intrauterine growth restriction(IUGR).
What’s the latest on Baby Ryker?
This weekend, Lydia and Trace Bates are back with another update on their unborn baby. They took fans along as they went to a checkup. In the new video, the couple revealed that Ryker’s growth is improving. His gestational size was at 6% and is now at 9%. While he’s still on the small side, this is an improvement, which was the goal.
In addition to checking on Ryker’s growth, the couple did get some good news. Lydia recently had several tests run, and they all came back clear.
