Wendy has been dealing with the fallout of a messy divorce from her ex, Kevin Hunter. The talk show host remains in rehab as she struggles with regaining her health. But the judge who oversaw divorce mediation between the couple has revealed that Wendy is completely broke now. Wendy Remains In Rehab As Ex-Husband Battles For More Money

The divorce proceedings for Wendy Williams and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter have stretched well beyond the normal length of time. It all started in April 2019, when Wendy first filed for divorce from Kevin.

According to rumors, Wendy believed that Kevin had impregnated another woman and was engaging in unfaithful behavior. During the marriage settlement agreement, Wendy retained ownership of the Wendy Williams Productions company, and Kevin was granted alimony payments.

However, in early 2022, Wells Fargo petitioned the courts for guardianship of Wendy’s money. Case managers at the bank had become concerned that Wendy was being “exploited,” so her accounts were frozen in January 2022. At the time they were frozen, Wendy’s accounts allegedly showed “Ample” funds in them. But apparently, that money is all gone.

Wendy is currently in rehab, battling severe alcoholism. She was rushed to the hospital in May, and then transferred to a rehab facility. Her son has spoken out about the fact that his mother continues to work when she should be caring for her health instead. And he has concerns about the way Wendy’s court-appointed guardian is handling her money.

Insiders recently spoke with The Sun to corroborate his concerns about Wendy‘s money. The sources spoke to the outlet and say that the judge who oversaw the last divorce mediation made shocking claims about Wendy’s fortune.

Wendy’s ex, Kevin, is currently trying to get the courts to reinstate his payments. Kevin has been forced to sell his Florida home and has been dealing with hardships now that he no longer receives the payouts from Wendy. But the insider who spoke with the media explained that the judge said of Wendy’s fortune in mediation, “The reality is that there is no more money.” This comes on the heels of the declaration in early 2022 that there were ample funds. And comes as Wendy’s son questions her guardian’s handling of Wendy’s accounts.

But, the insider adds, there was no proof submitted to show that Wendy’s accounts are bare. According to that source, Kevin Hunter has been pushing the court to provide a full account of Wendy‘s money. One insider said that now that mediation has failed, Kevin will “file a motion for enforcement of litigants rights.” Unless, of course, Wells Fargo and the courts prove that Wendy’s accounts are empty.
