‘Love Island USA’ Is BACK For Season 5

Before we get into the details about what to look forward to for Season 5 of Love Island USA let’s remove the elephant in the room. Yes, the U.K. version is the original series, and yes, it’s superior to its spin-offs simply because British humor is just well… better. But, there’s also no denying that any reality dating show is the ultimate guilty pleasure no matter the accent and that’s why we’re about to hype you up for Season 5 of the USA’s edition of finding love in Paradise.

Heading To Love Island To Find The One

Could you imagine if there was an island that was open to visitors to find their soul mate? Talk about convenience. Fortunately, for some sexy singles, there actually is. And, this year, it’s Fiji.

On Tuesday, July 18, a new group of islanders will cozy up in a beautiful villa with the intention of finding their person. The group “cannot wait to get started,” according to Peacock’s teaser on Youtube.

Hosting the show yet again will be the one and only Sarah Hyland. Hyland herself married a reality dating show star, Wells Adams, who is famous for his bartending role on Bachelor in Paradise.

Hyland previously gushed over Love Island USA telling Jimmy Fallon, “Oh my gosh, it’s so fun.” She added, “So, they just called me up, you know, the good ole Peacock, and asked me [to host] and I said, ‘Yes, thank you so much, Peacock.’ I love reality dating shows … and we have 10 very, very, very sexy human beings on this show. I could not stop staring.”

Hyland will be accompanied by the voice of Iain Stirling, the Scottish comedian who also does the voiceover commentary for Love Island UK.

Watching It On Your Big Screen At Home

Love Island USA Season 5 will premiere on July 18, with new episodes dropping every night on Peacock during its first week. After that, it will be on a 6-day schedule, taking Wednesdays off.

The new cast includes:

  • Vickala “Kay Kay” Gray – 25-year-old traveling nurse
  •  Leonardo Dionicio – 21-year-old charmer
  • Anna Kurdys – 22-year-old criminal justice student (and “stalker”)
  • Marco Donatelli – 22-year-old chiropractic student
  • Destiny Davis – 27-year-old microbiologist
  • Victor Gonzalez – 28-year-old wrestler and romantic
  • Kassy Castillo – 22-year-old real estate student working under her mom
  • Carsten “Bergie” Bergerson – 23-year-old who never had a girlfriend
  • Jasmine Sklavanitis – 24-year-old ICU nurse
  • Keenan Anunay – 23-year-old who’s been catfished

And, if you didn’t already hear the rumors, yes, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix will be making a guest appearance during the second week of the season.
