‘OutDaughtered’ Update: Where Is Michelle ‘MiMi’ Theriot Now?
In the comments of every promo post popping up for the Season 9 Premiere of OutDaughtered, there is one question fans are asking above all else: Where is Michelle ‘MiMi’ Theriot? Sadly, MiMi has not popped up in a single post on Adam, Danielle, Uncle Dale, or Aunt KiKi’s Instagram profiles. Have there been any recent updates on what’s going on with Michelle ‘MiMi’ Theriot and where she is now? Keep reading for the scoop.
OutDaughtered Update: Where Is Michelle ‘MiMi’ Theriot Now?
Unfortunately, Michelle ‘MiMi’ Theriot made headlines in the worst kind of way back in October 2020 when she was arrested for a DUI. As Tv Shows Ace reported at the time, the officers that pulled MiMi over suspected she was intoxicated when they smelled a strong scene of perfume that appeared to be attempting to mask the smell of booze. After failing a sobriety test, MiMi was arrested.
After news of her arrest broke, her Instagram account was disabled in an attempt to do what fans assumed was damage control. While her account has been reactivated, MiMi hasn’t posted on it since December 2021.
Sadly, Michelle ‘MiMi’ Theriot’s family appears to be avoiding questions related to where she is or what’s going on with her right now. Chatting about it in the comments of one of Aunt KiKi’s Instagram posts, fans agree it appears as if the family does not feel comfortable talking about MiMi these days. Fans hope that, at the very least, they haven’t written MiMi out of their lives completely.
Other fans, however, admit they understand if Adam and Danielle Busby put distance between MiMi and the girls out of fear of her getting behind the wheel with the girls while intoxicated.
Now, it is also possible the family stopped posting photos of MiMi on their profiles to protect her from receiving backlash and criticism from fans who refuse to forgive her for driving while under the influence. Overall, fans have been very divided on whether they forgive her for making a mistake or refuse to forgive her for doing something that could have killed someone.
Will She Be Featured On Season 9?
As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, what fans really want to know is whether MiMi will be in Season 9 at all. Unfortunately, she was nowhere to be found in the brief preview and trailers clips the network has shared thus far. Likewise, she hasn’t popped up in any promo photos either.
Given her DUI, many fans admit they wouldn’t be too surprised if TLC decided to axe MiMi from the show. Looking at the timeline, however, she was arrested for the DUI in 2020. Season 8 of OutDaughtered did not air until 2021. And, to fans’ surprise, MiMi was featured in some of the Season 8 episodes. So, it is possible that she will also make an appearance in Season 9 episodes as well.

I think we have no right at all to judge her or anyone. Like The Lord has commanded us, we forgive and love everyone. If you judge others you will be condemned by our Savior. Only Jesus Christ has the power to judge, not anyone else. He’s the only one who has that right, because he died for our mistakes and sins. We are commanded to love all man. Only God knows her heart. She’s a good person and she has the right to be a part of her families lives.
