‘Counting On’ How Josie Duggar Has Lived Without Reality TV
At the age of 13, Counting On alum Josie Duggar has had the unique opportunity of not growing up in the reality TV spotlight the same way her older siblings did over the past few years. As fans know, TLC made the swift decision to cancel Counting On back in September 2020.
So, Josie Duggar has had three years now without that reality TV spotlight shining down on her. What has the young former TLC star been doing with all those years of freedom from the reality TV spotlight? And, where is she now? Keep reading for an update on Josie Duggar.
How Is Life Without Reality TV?
Fans of Counting On really felt bad for Josie Duggar as she had struggled with health issues from the moment she entered the world. These same fans can only assume it is likely relieving to now get to deal with health issues without cameras watching all of them unfold.
Back in January of this year, fans learned Josie was wearing some sort of clavicle brace. Unsurprisingly, the family never made an effort to explain why the 13-year-old was wearing the medical device. This, however, didn’t stop fans from taking to various social media platforms to speculate what might be wrong.
Some fans speculated Josie might suffer from mild scoliosis and the brace could be a treatment for that. Others wonder if she somehow broke her collarbone and that’s why she was wearing the brace.
At the end of it all, what fans all seemed to agree on was the relief. They were relieved Josie Duggar was getting the medical help she needed even though the cameras weren’t rolling as the family had always been a little averse to getting proper medical treatment.
When Did Fans Last See Josie Duggar?
As those who follow Josie Duggar’s older siblings know, she made a rare appearance in a video uploaded by her sister Jinger Vuolo earlier this month. Sadly, however, the video sparked some concerns among fans for Josie’s health. Unfortunately, the past few times Josie has popped up in photos and videos, Counting On fans have expressed concerns for her looking both frail and a little on the pale side.
Fans, however, were also just happy to see her with a huge smile on her face as she spent some time with her older siblings who no longer lived at home.
