VPR star Tom Sandoval is either a hero or villain, depending on who you ask. Fortunately, questions about whether or not he would return for the next season of Vanderpump Rules have been laid to rest. Awkward or not, Tom is back and he’s filming with the show as they head into their 11th season. Read on to find out what Tom had to say about his return to the show and his relationship with Raquel Leviss.

Before Returning To VPR, Tom Challenged Himself

Cameras started rolling in June for Season 11 of VPR. Media outlets quickly pointed out that Tom Sandoval was MIA from filming. This led some to speculate that he was not going to be part of the upcoming season. Or at the least, that he would be involved in a limited way.

However, it was quickly revealed that the reason Tom was not involved in early filming was unrelated to the drama. He was in New Zealand filming Season 2 of Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. The show follows celebrities through a series of grueling challenges and brutal living conditions. We won’t know how he performed on the show until it airs, but he clearly survived.

It seems like exactly the kind of toughening up and practice Tom Sandoval will need to face the tensions of VPR Season 11 alongside his castmates.

Tom Sandoval Declares He Is Back Filming With Vanderpump Rules Season 11

And now, Tom Sandoval is back.

TMZ caught up with him this week as he was in the process of dropping flowers off for boss Lisa Vanderpump at the now-closed PUMP restaurant in So-Ho. As Season 11 filming kicks off, Tom told the outlet that he knows the cameras are watching his every move. However, he stopped short of sharing details about his relationship with Raquel Leviss.

He did go on to add that this season will be “interesting.” As of now, it’s unclear if Raquel will be returning for Season 11 of the show. And it’s also unclear how things will proceed with tensions so high between Tom and his ex, Ariana Madix. Lisa Vanderpump has said that she will not be involved in any negotiations to bring Raquel back for another season, so fans may not be able to see that aspect of the troubled trio play out on the show.
