Amy Halterman’s Baby Boy Celebrates His First Birthday
Amy Halterman‘s baby just celebrated his first birthday and fans can’t believe how quickly time flies.
Last summer, fans were on pins and needles waiting for updates about the 1000-Lb. Sisters star’s pregnancy. She gave birth on July 5, 2022 via a scheduled C-section. By all accounts, both Amy and baby Glenn seemed healthy.
Now, an entire year has gone by. Amy and the family had a great party for the little boy, which she highlighted on her TikTok channel. Keep reading to see photos from the big day.
Amy Halterman shows off her little boy’s big day
Amy Halterman documented her pregnancy on Instagram, giving her followers an instant connection with baby Glenn. By the time he came into the picture, he already had a significant fan base.
1000-Lb Sisters fans really enjoy seeing Amy’s sons grow up.
Glenn Halterman celebrated his birthday on July 5, 2023. The family hasn’t shared many photos or videos from the event, but Amy did upload a few things to TikTok.
“Happy 1st birthday glenn allen halterman,” Amy captioned her TikTok. The video only featured one photo of Glenn, on a loop. She put a really heavy filter over the video, which gave Glenn long eyelashes. Fans didn’t really appreciate the filter but wished Glenn a happy birthday nevertheless.
“Happy birthday Glenn wow already one that was a fast year 🥰” one fan wrote in the comments section.
“Happy birthday! he is so cute no need for a filter,” another added.
In another TikTok, Amy shared a picture of his cake. It had white frosting with a black line and two dots at either end. “Happy 1st birthday” was written at the bottom in frosting.
It’s pretty likely that the family will share more photos of the party soon, so fans can keep an eye out for those on social media.
Fans wish the TLC star would stop putting filters on the baby
Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman love social media filters. They frequently use them in their own selfies. However, fans really wish Amy would stop using them on her two small children. And lately, she seems to have a habit of putting them specifically on Glenn.
“I know I’m late but happy 11mo to my wonderful goofy boy!! Love you soooo much chunky,” Amy captioned one Instagram post of the baby with a heavy beauty filter. Fans felt aggravated about the situation and let the reality star know in the comments.
“You used a filter on your kid…… gross,” one Instagram user wrote. Several others chimed in and echoed similar feelings, but a few fans did defend Amy’s choices.
“Omg leave her alone! Be happy for happy posts. Her sons are beautiful and she can post any way she wants. She’s just expressing her love for her son,” another wrote.
