Rachel Lindsay Supports Charity Lawson, Will She Watch Season?
Former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay recently voiced her support for new lead Charity Lawson. In the past months, Rachel has distanced herself from the franchise and so fans wonder if she will be tuning in with everyone else to support Charity. Keep reading to find out what she had to say.
Rachel Lindsay shows support for Charity Lawson, will she watch season?
People caught up with Rachel Lindsay ahead of Charity Lawson’s premiere. Rachel had nothing but good things to say about Charity although the two have never met. However, she hopes to meet her one day and even called her lovely.
Charity herself is thankful for Rachel’s support. She revealed knowing that Rachel has her back. Along with Rachel, other Bachelor Nation alums have reached out to also offered support to Charity as she goes on her journey to find love.
So, while Rachel is supporting Charity and wishes her well, is she watching the show? The answer is no. Rachel said, “I haven’t met Charity. I don’t follow the show, but it’s inevitable to not see it and not see what’s going on.” She then said, “So, Charity, if you’re out there, I’m rooting for you, and I wish you all the best. But I’m not going to watch. But I will reach out.” Rachel concluded noting that she’s always there if Charity needs her.
As for Charity, she is aware that Rachel will not be watching but still is appreciative of the support from afar.
Charity said, “It’s nice to know that I do have someone to lean back [on], or just have an anchor in time of need. So thank you, Rachel, obviously, and hopefully even though you’re not watching, you’ll see the outcome at the end of all this.”
Rachel is no longer part of the franchise
Rachel Lindsay did find love on The Bachelorette. She married her final rose winner Bryan Abasolo who is a chiropractor in California. She decided to end her association with the show after the fallout occurred involving former host Chris Harrison. Fans got rather hateful toward Lindsay throughout the drama.
Now, fans are curious about her marriage with Bryan. However, she is pretty tight-lipped. She feels their contractual obligation to share their love story ended in 2017. Therefore, she and Bryan do not share much publicly when it comes to their marriage.
She did say they were taking 2023 to focus on their marriage.
