Breaking down to tears in an emotional video on TikTok, Tammy Slaton thanks her followers for all their supportive comments during this difficult time. She admits it is the kind and supportive comments of her followers that is getting her through this tragedy as she mourns the passing of her husband.
To date, Caleb Willingham’s cause of death has not been made public. Though, fans of the TLC series have posed a few theories on what may have caused him to pass away. As Tv Shows Ace previously reported, a lot of fans suspect he may have simply died of a broken heart.
During her emotional breakdown, Tammy Slaton does address her husband’s cause of death. Unfortunately, she doesn’t really address it in the way fans had hoped. The TLC personality tells her followers that Caleb Willingham’s cause of death is “personal.” Moreover, she has decided not to share the details of what happened to him and how he died because of how personal the information is.
Sadly, some fans suspect this could mean Caleb Willingham committed suicide because it is a “personal” cause of death that loved ones often don’t want to share.
Tammy Slaton admitted to her followers that she and Caleb were having some problems in their marriage. She, however, loved him and would miss him dearly. The TLC star also apologized for her followers having to see her like this as it wasn’t really a side she wanted to show people.
He Had Just Turned 40
As those who follow Caleb on Facebook know, he had just celebrated his 40th birthday a little over a week before passing away. Tammy told her followers that despite the way he presented himself on social media sometimes, he loved fans of the show the same way she does.

Sadly, it has been reported that Tammy Slaton and Caleb Willingham were in the process of getting a divorce at the time of his passing. The TLC star was reportedly upset with her husband for falling off the wagon and gaining weight. It, however, was Caleb who supposedly ignited the fire on getting a divorce by putting it on the table as an option during an argument.
Caleb Willingham was still referring to Tammy as his wife in the week prior to his death via his comments on Facebook.
