Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have secretly welcomed their fourth child. This comes less than half a year after she gave birth to their daughter, Esti. So, how is this all possible, and more so, how did they keep it a secret? Read on for all of the details on their newest arrival.

Just five months after welcoming their daughter into the world, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have another new addition. They have a brand new baby to dote on. According to People, the couple are now parents to a baby boy born via surrogate. On Monday, June 19th, Wren Alexander came into the world but it was not until today that they shared the news. Chrissy took to Instagram to express her excitement, gratitude, and share their story. She explained that she always knew that she wanted four children. Sadly, she lost a baby, Jack halfway through her third pregnancy.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend decided to try surrogacy and thought about doing two at once. Yet, she also wanted to try to carry a baby again. So, they got the embryos and also met Alexandra, who would become their surrogate. Chrissy became pregnant but sadly, Alexandra lost their first embryo. However, when Chrissy’s pregnancy was at a safe point, her surrogate became pregnant. Then, on June 19th, Alexandra delivered their son.
In the final slide, Chrissy wrote: “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you.”
John Legend left The Voice after Season 22, but he is returning again. Now, his family has quickly expanded but this was something that his wife has wanted for so long. Losing their son Jack was heartbreaking for both of them so this is truly a blessing.

Of course, this was a shock to fans of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend as they had no idea about the secret son. Yet, they were equally as excited. “It feel very right that I am crying in a Tack Bell drive thru reading this. Many happy congratulations to you and your family,” one person wrote. Another added: “Wow. What an incredible story. Congratulations to you and your beautiful family.”
